Graduate School in Electronics, Telecommunications and Automation, GETA

getatransparent.gifThe Graduate School in Electronics, Telecommunications and Automation is a post graduate programme offered jointly by five universities: Aalto University School of Electrical Engineering, Tampere University of Technology and the Universities of Oulu, Turku and Jyväskylä. In all about 20 participating departments have about 130 professors over 70 postdoctoral instructors and several docents (adjunct professors) from other universities.

GETA provides a four year doctoral programme on the basis of a Master´s or equivalent degree in electronics, telecommunications and automation or related field. GETA is the largest graduate school in Finland with 67 research student positions. GETA arranges high quality courses which are open to all post graduate students.
